Well I know exactly what's going to happen, I shall attempt to do it, it will fail, I will turn up at ...joe's and inform him that it was like that when I got it so have no idea how it got so bad!

Tis a good plan I feel!

I know it's odd having a he car but he is just such a boy lol. 'she' wouldn't suit at all. He's also called Toast...  :undecided:

The plans are keep him running essentially.
The BBS RA's are getting resprayed to be the winter wheels, so they will be going on as soon as they're done and the RS's will be coming off to be machine polished back to mirror shine.

Will be looking at either getting ...joe to retrim the interior or [extreme sense of naivety] potentially giving it a go myself as I can dress make so I can't see it would be too hard.  :undecided: [/extreme sense of naivety].

Maybe entering him in to shows in the summer. Depends if I think he's ready to be honest.

Need special leather needles for your sewing machine is all.

Sounds easy dont it!
Done a bit myself but with vinyl (on another car) and found complex curves a right pain!
The other thing that would concern me is the piping!

Well with the piping, I would assume you'd get the pipe, wrap it in the material and feed it between the two pieces of material and sew them all together. That way you keep the template and the piping should be on the edges as it's supposed to be.

Ah well, we'll have to see how it goes lol. Wont be looking at doing it until the summer as dissertation takes priority unfortunately.

The old BBS have been refurbed and re-put back on to count as my winter wheelies, while the RS' are also refurbed.

As much as I love my RS' its for the best to run with these on for the now.

MOT time this week or next. With the amount of work that's been done to this car it should literally fly through...  :undecided:
