But are they complete and plug and play?
Including bulbs and control unit? (was that nr. 1 to nr. 4 in your list??)

No they are not plug and play. Only the housings for 739,00 euro, maybe more with the new ones. Another 300,00 to 500,00 euro approx for the bits 'n pieces. It all depends if you want auto levelling, cornering control etc.

Will know much more when the new lights are released.

What do you get for the 739,- euro?
Only the xenon's?
And do they have DRL??

Ron this is all your fault!
The housings will come with the LED DRLs.

Anyone check what else is different?
control unit, Bulb holders etc?

The control units and bulbs are the same

The bit I am not 100% sure about is if my central electric control module will fully support the new lights.

I wonder how long before they do DRLs something like this for the mk6

(Ive seen the other ones Am1w posted before. http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=169531.msg1574404#msg1574404 ) but i do like the golf R and skoda vRS ones better than the new inlight DRL ones as the new ones will prob have to be like the audi ones were they turn off or go dull so you can see the indicator.

I wonder when SteveP will be getting the new LED DRL Xenons.

Just been to the dealers and the ETA is now end of the month but it's showing as supplier backorder so will likely to be a bit longer.

Can't wait for you to put 'em on or see if they are compatible.
