Ahhh sound advice, I will do.
Mrk V, GTI, 3dr, DSG, heated seats, winter pack, cruise control, rear parking sensors and now thanks to GizzyWizzy and SteveP in the MK6 section a RCD 510. Awesome!

You may also want to check SEAT forums as i noticed last night that a family members 54 reg SEAT Ibiza is having this exact same problem in the same location.

Had my MK4 into VW the other week for corrosion, Got a phone call earlier saying VW have given the go ahead for the repair to be done under warranty.
