the AGG has a crank and a cam sensor. The crank is under the oil filter in the block, and the cam as you know is in the dizzy. Would check the crank sensor wiring out if it was me.James
I wish it did! None of my faults (including my shorting-crank-sensor-wiring) shows up on vagcom. In my experience the mk3 ECU isn't clever enough to log non-critical faults.Worth a try though - you might be luckyJames
vagcom for an hour? What's he gonna do sit there an hour bored? It takes 2 minutes to scan it.
