exhaust manifold removal trouble

That was my next step, but seems my nozzle has been theived whilst on holiday !!! Is cherry red ok ? or will that blow the flange up ?

cherry red is the starting point,   work up to  bright yellow and dripping

You joking or serious lol ? the nuts and studs are copper arnt they ?

the manifold to downpipe is steel,  manifold to head is copper nuts.

manin downpipe comes off quite easy from under the car with plenty of plus gas and 1/2 drive extensions.  failing that reg heat and try again.

manifold / head nuts    if the head is off and they piss me of i just muder them and then wind the last bit of the stud out.  if on the car a good heating till things get a bit red often works

gave up on the downpipe bolts, rounded one off and cant even get to the other bolts with the tools ive got ( needs to get new set of socket bits etc), , started cutting my manifold with a junior axle in frustration, now waiting for a disc cutter from my brother  hopefully then ill be able to get to all the bolts and spray them with plus gas!

i bought some irwin bolt grippers and long extensions and a universal joint when i changed my downpipe as i seemed like i had 3 sizes of nut on there till i got them off and saw they were just in different stages of rusting away
also found a breaker bar helped with the initial release

cheers mate, ive just removed the whole downpipe so i can lift the manifold near enough out so can get to all the bolts now with plus gas and sockets!
