Corrado never got the ABF.

Have you tried GSF and ECP?

Yeah, tried em all, no luck at all!!

GSF and the others have plenty of the standard ones (plastic) but none of the ones i need! It seems that its quite a rare part, which is why the aftermarket firms dont make em!

I checked seat, skoda etc as they are all on the etos program i got.

i mean apart from tracking down a breaker 16v with my set-up theres not really much else i can do. Its crap as id rather get a new part so i dont have to worry about it failing again. The one i took off has been on for 14 years so its done well considering.

Im also annoyed because the bloke i bought it from didnt list air con and ive never seen one with the older manual air con so didn't know what to look for. I might not have bought it if id known.

Then again i did only pay 600 squid for her and (touch wood) apart from this and the thrust or input shaft bearing squeeking (which i can fix) it seems very sound.

Hey archie, i used to live in basingstoke, im a popley boy!!

Yeah thats a bloody good idea about the germany thing, was the price reasonable though cos i dont wanna get raped by the dealer, u know how it can be!!

Otherwise thats another good idea about changin it for the other system, although id have to de-commission the air con i suppose! I mean all the mounting points should be the same shouldn't they?

I would guess so unless the compressor is different.
