You could try a toffee wheel, in a slow rotating drill, works wonders!

Good shout, but make sure you keep it moving as you can scorch paint if you stay on one spot too long or too high a speed, lots of light passes rather than one heavy.
Don't ask me how I know this :lipsrsealed: :grin:

Many moons ago, debadging my mates 205 gti got a bit distracted and may have scorched the paint. A bit.
 Didn't feel that bad though cause mate who's car it was buffed the bonnet with compound and let it dry out and burnt a big circle into gloss black bonnet :grin: We were 18 and ended up painting the car completely and looked mint. So I like to think in the long run it was for the best. :grin:

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.
