all the clips were new a couple of months ago, i had the same problems when they were brand new

they just dont clip in and stay in without a massive wack

i'll get some new strips and do a better job of painting them, then probably just glue them on so they sit nice and flush

Me neither, where did you get the clips from and were they all the correct depth ones in the right places along the length of the door strips as they do vary?

Am i right in thinking the the 3 door models use the deeper set clips partially on the doors, where as the 5 doors only use the more shallow versions? If you haven't been using the deeper ones, that's probably your problem

yeah they are all the right clips, they dont fit on at all if they are the wrong ones

they are from ebay but they seemed alright quality

Yeah 5 doors have 2 big clips and the rest are small, i borrowed like 20 from a scrappy if you want to try the ones iv got left over on friday

nah its cool they are on now, 3 doors use loads of the smaller clips, and then a weird half size clip right at the end which always breaks

fancy a trip to the scrapyard in the afternoon?

Yeah sure, what scrap yard? as i dont finish until 2.30 but i guess we can go straight from my works but i think we should go in your car for better fuel and i want to see what its like?

either spalls or colchester, need a decent drivers side wing and part of the loom from a mk3 with leccy windows... and whatever else looks nice

Went to dj spalls last week they had less then normal and the only golf was the one that i stripped ages ago aha
Colchester will be ok but you might have to get me from work so we can get there asap?
