Awww. in a way i'm sad you've changed cars as it was great seeing a wreck sorted into a half decent motor.  But then swapping to the TDI was a wise move... Hope it's a good motor.

yeah same, the TDIs good on fuel, reliable and fast enough that i can keep it for a couple of years until i finish uni so i think its a good move

got a boost gauge installed ready for some moar power!
theres not many decent mounting places in mk3s, i dont like pillar mounts and didnt want to lose an air vent so made this up from a energy drink can

Have seen a t4 with one like this but it was redbull can, was faded pritty bad tho

yeah the 52mm gauges are a perfect fit into those size cans so i wouldnt be surprised if its been done before

im pretty happy with it though, tried to get it looking as clean as possible, was going to go with a redbull can but the pussy can is a bit different  and it matches the colour of the car

Plus the pussy can is  and would be less noticeable if it fades

Although it's not something id personally fit to one of my cars i still thinks it's quite cool, plus even if it does get get dented or sun faded it's hardly going to break the bank to replace with a fresh one is it.
