My new car: Pics (Thanks Chuff and Derek)
« on: 08 August 2010, 19:56 »
Green one with beige interior is the new one.

Blue one is the old one, killed by two hit and runs.

Any mod suggestions?

So far - I'm thinking vr6 front fogs with dim bulbs/reflectors to use as driving lights, Borbet A's, Octavia VRS brakes and possibly a vento 4 slat front with HIDs.

I was put off a bit by the beigeness of it.

But once you settle in it feels really nice... kind of like retro luxury...

I was thinking about swapping over the door cards and dash and stuff off of the old one and fitting VR6 seats but the new one's in perfect condition so I don't know...

Nice one mate :) Love the wagons, huh?

I would leave the beige stuff personally. Would probably get beige leather seats, but wouldn't change anything else, because it would be too much hassle trying to replace everything....It's not just the door cards and the dash, you know.

My Borbets are yours, if you are happy with the price.

Also have Hella Twins with 6k HIDs and complete front fogs/indicators/blanks set, so in case, if you change your mind with Vento front end, these are still available :)

Looks like a good buy. Wagons rock  Fun fact, that electric rear window switch in the dash is an unusual option. Rarer than people think
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3

Both of my wagons have had it...

But only one has A/C!

I'm confused as to why it has A/C and a sunroof... But I like it.

Ta!

I've owned a mk3 wagon for 5/6 years now... but never actually thought to mod it until recently.
