You imagine incorrectly.... although that's a nice prospect and may happen at some point when one is sourced for Cheap.

What you're looking at is an SU carb, on a Bodgit & Scarper manifold.

The can contains Start Ya Bastard stand-in, to aid tuning of the carb.

It smells, as DannyP put it - of toilets, but is extremely flammable which is nice.
