I had a Cult Society boot plinth with hidden lock button on my mk2 a few years ago, loved it.

Admittedly I've read a few  similar reports myself but have yet to actually see the dodgy bits.

Well the inevitable happened, red rears and German Plates now have to go  Even here in Jersey where there is no MOT they don't like it!  Oh well at least it's just a case of replacing them and that's it. No fine and no points

Yeah, they were showing red. Fair enough i did try to get them to go orange. Looks like Hella all red rears are next on my list!

No the fuzz have never said a word about them before, been pulled a few times was even told to replace my lights that light up the plate!

Someone decided to be a 'Good Citizen' and report me to DVS (Driver and Vehicle Standards) same as your DVLA. Got a letter through the post to say that it's been reported that my car is not fit for purpose! That's our MOT!!

Oh well, will have them removed :)

Well that's naughty then driving about with red everything... Can't believe you got reported though!

When you got a letter saying your car wasn't fit for purpose are you sure the lights and plates were all they were getting at?   :lipsrsealed:

Yeah, i had to take it down to them so they could check it out for themselves. If there is an issue they will ask me change it, if not to be on my way. They questioned my tint on the fogs/indicators and headlights but i told them it was all legal, because it is! :)
