Rubbish, what happened?

Have no idea. Just heard a massive bang then it started cracking and shattering.. really strange, was no where near the car at the time! Insurance job though, CL glass for extra smoothness!  :cool:

All the welding was done, was way after that! Screen was protected too!  :shocked:

Rather than getting a CL rear screen through the insurance wouldn't it have been cheaper and easier just to smooth that red one from your mate, or did that have to be fitted to put the car back on the road straight away?

Had to be fitted to get the car back on the road as where i park it's not sheltered and just so happened to be raining, real badly!

I'd say that was the welding! probably rapid cooling.

Means I will have to be careful when I do the same thing!

What happens in the UK if you get pulled for indicators flashing red, on rear light out, number plate light out and the plate stuck on the boot..
