Here's one for Dan...engine bay pic time!

First got it:

Engine cover and quick clean:

Now:

There are parts that need to be cleaned up and done properly. White Samco hoses are on the list a long with a BMC CDA induction kit.

A nice little package arrived for me today with the shiny bits i've been waiting for since the the 3rd of July. Venom were good at keeping me in the loop as to what stage we were each week. :afro:

Me and my mate will be fitting this tomorrow:

All the bits are sorted and clamped so i know what to use tomorrow and what i don't need!!

Now roll on my other order

Trying not to do a half assed job like i did to the other Golf lol

Missed the post man yesterday, so went to collect today...this is my next bit of goodies to go on...

Mmmmmm SUCTION!!!

Hopefully it will give me some time to tidy up the engine bay as well. Get the VW badge painted on the engine cover. It is all colour coded at the moment but you can't see it in the pictures!

Will be on tomorrow and going to sound awesome! Might polish the TB whilst i'm at it??

More updates to follow tomorrow!!!

Oh on another note, popped it off the limiter with the new exhaust on and a little bit of sex wee came out!

Induction kit is on with the new 83mm hose, have managed to direct the kit to face the inner corner side of the wing, away from the engine so should pick up cold air. If not i'll run the cold air feed.

Here are some pics!!

Slam panel and the HT Lead holder thingys are next to be sprayed

Right here is my latest project I've taken on:

Bought these wheels with almost two brand new tyres on, one crappy one and one with out!

What they looked like (Rather corroded!)

Sent them off to be sand blasted £25 per wheel. Declined the option to have them primered for an extra £40. They came back primered for free!!!

Centre caps before and after:

Here's my progress so far:

Time to update!

Noticed my exhaust wasn't sitting straight and it turned out to be a clamp at the end of the decat, with that tightened it now sits straight

Although i did find this rather disturbing...

A better view:

New bolts and jobs a goodun!
