If you just want to see a GTI with Interlagos wheels, look at Frogs on here.

Golf GTI mk6 DSG in black - 18inch Monza shadows - leather interior - sat nav - f/r parking sensors - heated seats - well it was a showroom model!

success!  I uploaded my pic.

Now.  Does anyone think I can somehow rub these marks out?

Problem with Monza shadows as per previous threads is that they are so prone to marking.  there is no rim so damage is usually all the way across the wheel.

I bought my MK6 with bad scratches on 2 wheels but negotiated with VW that they sort them out and they did a really good job to be fair.  they also removed a nasty deep scrtach in the rear bumper where, presumably the VW dealership manager had been placing his spiked golf shoes ready for a round!

Oh and while we are on the subject of wheels.  What tyres are good for Monza 18s?  Should I go back to vW or Kwikfit or who?

Thanks

Jonny

Doesn't look like you've got much to lose by trying. Start by rubbing down and then reduce grit size to bring the polish back. Clear lacquer them by blending in and then machine polish to improve the finish. If it goes tits up you've got to refurb anyway.

I agree 100%. I have driven a Golf with the Goodyears. So quiet and such precise handling.

Before anyone says... not so great in winter. They are about as good as any other tyres would be in winter.

Very, very impressed so far with the Vredestein Sessanta's, feel better than the Pilot Sport 3's already and look very smart.

I have looked at these previously... seem like good value for the price I have to say. How do they compare to the F1 assyms Gossa??
