When do they accidentally reflash your remap...

I need some urgent advise 

Just an hour ago I had a warninglight "Tyre-presure"...so I was in the direct neighbourhoud of a VW garage and brought it in.
Tyres were checked malfunctions where read out and everything allright so they reset the warninglight (I guess via the glove-compartment)..

Now here it comes I drove towards home and would swear before a judge that I have powerloss...

I went in immediately and asked if they noticed I have had an ABT remap....their answer was we did not touch the motormanagement and by the way since your ABT is official it is registrated with all the VW garages....so not possible

Can somebody who is familiar with this....ease me down and tell me it is just my imagination playing havocs.....

I think that probably most of you cannot be bothered to inform themselves with this....

Anyway good news for the "Legal/Official Remappers"....whenever they take their cars in a VW garage they are safe ...because your car is registered as a remapped car and protected from overwriting. You only mention your registration number and Bob is your uncle...

Got this confirmed today by 2 dealers...

The car drives good again...I think due to the warm weather (both car and me) and some bad events at work etc etc.....
I must admit I want a holiday....I am pretty wound up lately...

Speaking of yesterday evening.....My GOD what did that whistle take long......I was having my cushion for a snack....

I am relaxed now  ....but wait another 15 minutes and I will be gone again....for the first time in my life I want those Germans to win...

Anyway my car on the way back was able to toy with a white Sirocco so all is well in the camp again....


I am investigating a drop in filter panel...I most certainly will get it...... even if it is 1 BHP it is welcome......I admit this is addictive... :embarassed:

I will probably eat my sofa. I really want Germany to win as I def feel they have played really great football so far. I think the Spaniards are an arrogant bunch and deserve a good licking. SEAT don''t compare with VW do they?

Right you that is our affiliation over and done with how could you possibly want those awful Germans to win.  Spain play far nicer footie and although their cars cannot compare I think the Germans are more arrogant.
