3 Door Window Rubber shrunk and need a replacement...?

these are discontinued chap, only hope is good 2nd hand or finding some newuns on ebay

prob find that vw may start doing em again as part of the vw classic range,m they've already brought back a fair few disocontinued parts that way

What is this classic range of which you speak RJ? Is there list somewhere, quick google returned nowt.

Mboon, when do you need it for? I'm picking up a new door in next few weeks...

As above? the one that stops water going between the glass and entering the internals of the doors.

One side has shrunk, one hasnt, would like to replace both, did I search and found GPC website but it seems to be down.

Any ideas where I can get some? I have asked VW and they said they dont sell the rubber kits etc for the MK2 anymore?

GPC website is sh!te, apart from very useful Tel number, give them a ring, and speak to Charlie, he's very helpful, and supplied the same rubber trims for my car, iirc they cost around £25 each, but well worth it, rubbers come oversized, and have to be cut to length after fitting to the extruded channel, word of warning! once the new rubbers are fitted to the channel, they will shrink! leaving gaps that look aweful, to avoid this, fit the new rubbers, and then leave them for a day or so, before trimming to length

yep thats the site chaps! G60 arches can still be had new but only 3 of them, its one of the rears thats discontinued

When i called them they'd run out. Found an American company that does some rubbers through PVW but they only do mk1 window rubbers atm. Maybe they would fit?
