Hi guys,

Just recieved my 'X-treme Power' bulbs to upgrade my poverty spec bulbs  , I've noticed they give you a free pack of 'Phillips Premium W5W' sidelight bulbs.

My question is: Has anyone used either? And is it worth swapping the sidelights? What sort of light do they give out? ( and breatheeeee )

Cheers guys

Ye I got the side light bulbs from them (quick service too). They are an improvement over the standard bulb, not as yellow. But no where near as white as a LED. They are a bit fiddly to fit, its worth it seeing as you have them.

To be honest Mr. Hunt I've not tried them at night.

Didn't seem too different in the day. I was expecting a whiter light, but i never got it

If the uprated bulbs are already in there and you still find the light poor you might want to see if they are aligned properly. The bulbs might be on the way out or damaged from finger grease too.

Take the bulbs out and clean them with a microfibre cloth. Make sure they are properly fitted as otherwise it screws up the reflected light.
