Could well be. I'm having my iPhone replaced, so I'll let you know if the new one works as well.

Perhaps it's worth trying a factory reset of the Fiscon? Dial *582#2177 from your phone.

Given up with the iPhone 4!
Sold it on eBay for a HUGE profit - and have returned to my HTC HD2 which works fine and gets a great signal everywhere!

I might even use some of the cash I made to buy an HTC Desire and give that a try

This is strange, my experience with iphone 4 has been the opposite - reception more stable than my old 3G and works fine with Fiscon kit. The only slightly weird thing is that the contacts come up surname first whereas the 3G presented them the right way around. (3G used to play up since iOS3 installed a while ago)
On order. CSG Mk7 GTI. BW 46 - Now arrived.

I never had any stability problems with the reception - I just found the reception to be poor everywhere in comparison to my previous phones.  I mainly use my phone for internet at work, but I get no internet signal at work!
Its a shame as it was a really nice phone to use and looked great.  The Fiscon problems were minor and I could have easily lived with them... but I can't have a phone that has no internet!
Please note - I'm talking about my reception with NO HANDS on the phone
IF I held my fingers over the black bar in the left corner, I could get the signal to vanish!!

Perhaps its the area I work in doesn't have a very strong signal - but all previous phones have managed to get a decent signal.

Pete you can buy a proper bt kit now  one which intergrates with everything, sell your fiscon and buy the new vw module 7p6 035 730C this will give you all the functions of the vw premium kit but you can use any phone has its not Rsap...

About £300 from VW then you just need the loom and mic which I can get hold of for you cheap enough.

Can I also use my i-Phone 3GS with the VW Bluetooth you installed?

For the amount of time I actually use the phone in the car, the Fiscon will do me fine!
Any problems are more like niggles than problems.  I'm back to my old HTC HD2 for the moment which works great.

If I was buying again, then maybe the new VW one would be my choice - but I'm not wasting anymore cash!!
