Also just noticed with the iPhone 4 (pretty sure it never did this before) when an incoming call comes in, the actual musical ringtone from the iPhone is played through the car speakers and not the ear piercing vw ringer.

It only does this when the iPhone is set to silent.

Found a couple of issues with the iPhone 4 today...

I can't seem to answer a call with any of the steering wheel buttons.  I have to press the button on the RNS510 screen to answer.  The same with hanging up - I have to press the button on the RNS510 screen.
My contacts sync fine - but it no longer syncs my Missed Calls / Recent Recieved / Recent Dialled lists.

I was getting told the call quality was rubbish - but then I realised I'd reset the Mic volume when I did a factory reset to clear out my old phone.  Once I adjusted the Mic volume back up a bit - it was fine!

Just to be clear, you're talking about iPhone 4 rather than 3GS with iOS4?

My iPhone 4 seems to work about the same as before; generally fine, but the odd bit of strangeness. It wouldn't hurt Fiscon to actually support their product and get some updates out, rather than just saying it's not compatible with certain iPhone firmware.

I finally visited a kind forum member yesterday who enabled telephone for me. I can confirm that the telephone button is working to answer calls for me with my iPhone 4 and RCD510.

Weird... I'm on my 3rd iPhone 4 so far, and all have the same problem!
I wonder if thats an RNS issue with the phone then since your RCD works?
