Well, long wait is almost over...... Pickup this Fri!

I didn't take up the 3yr servicing offer when i originally ordered the GTi, but i understand that this can be taken out up to a certain period after delivery. Can anyone confirm what time period this offer is only available for?

I take it it's still highly recommended here?

I will of course post pics when i get back.

You can do it up to 3 months after getting your car my dealer tells me. I took up the offer about 3 weeks ago having had my car since 15 March.

You can do it up to 3 months after getting your car my dealer tells me. I took up the offer about 3 weeks ago having had my car since 15 March.

Exciting time Squirrel.
Don't know if this will apply to you but if you take the VW Finance, the 3 year service pack comes free.

I'm picking mine up on Saturday (26th) from build week 22.  Pleasently surprised by the turn around.  Ordered 26th March so arrived quicker than I thought.

Has anyone got a few pointers for me for what I should be checking/looking for on Saturday?  Any areas of concern re paintwork, bodywork, etc, etc.  Any help much appreciated!

I've e-mailed the dealer tonight, so hopefully it's on the same boat as yours. I'm in Germany next Mon - Thurs, so maybe next Friday if I'm lucky!
