Managed to fit it, there are to hook type clips either side of the fuse panel, flick them up and the panel comes down.

However, still not relsoved the problem, light still does not come on, and the diagnostic didn't pick anything up?

Some one removed the bulb to hide a fault perhaps ::) ?. Dash out would be my next move.

Could be...........its not the first time its been mentioned:-

I know you have probably checked but is the ABS light connected. ABS problems are fairly common and can be expensive. Certain unscrupulous owners often unplug light when selling rather then getting prob fixed. It is easy as the panel on dash just pulls off. I know I had same prob. When i reattached it the light stayed on all the time and turned out to be a faulty sensor at the back which luckily was cheap and easy to replace.

There should be 2 lights , air bag and abs to the right of the steering wheel. The small panel these lights are on simply unclips, make sure it is plugged in.
