Oh and can never be road legal, so way dodgy putting a video of it up being driven around on the road.

Build date suggests it'd need IVA, given the structural modifications to the car.

To me the content of the car says it should be evaluated as the Golf, not the Type 3 and that would mean the transmission tunnel and bulkheads would need to remain unmodified and I don't think they have.

I totally get people building things for fun, but driving it uninsured, un-MOTed and untaxed on the road and filming it?

And no, you couldn't Chris.  Anything built (kit or not) has to go through IVA now.

Expect to see far fewer novel and interesting cars.

I hadnt bothered looking at the related vids on the tube so hadnt spotted it on the road... yeah that is pretty dumb...
