People With Aftermarket Exhausts (SteveP?)
« on: 08 June 2010, 10:03 »
Been reading other Mk6 Golf forums, and a few people are saying once fitting an aftermarket exhaust they are getting the CEL up. Was reading that APR stage 2 map removes the error completely so it can never come up. Am running REVO stage 1 just now and wasnt planning on going stage 2 till a later date and just run the TBE and Carbonio on stage 1 until i fit the Forge Twintercooler but may need to now  Going to contact REVO and ask if they do the same as APR and map it out and contact BlueFlame and ask if they fit a spacer for the o2 sensor, either or would stop the CEL coming on.

SteveP i know you have the BlueFlame, any problems? What map are you running?

I am running an early release very of the Revo stage 2 software so like the APR software it disables the sensor that triggers the CEL on high flow cats.

You can normally get away with running a 200 cell sport cat on stage 1 without triggering the cel.

Watch this space though for some very interesting exhaust developments

Yeah, spoke to REVO yesterday and they said the same, so just a matter of waiting for it being released  Any ideas when? Are you still running the stanard I/C?

My exhaust arrived yesterday actually along with my Carbonio Intake (which sounds great)

Exhaust developments..........   Spill?
