man, why does everyone with factory fitted leather door cards put f**king speaker holes in them 
i was looking at that as well. makes the door cards nearly worthless, and what is wrong with the existing front speaker positions on a Golf?! its not like VW didn't supply a front position for speakers.
hmmm let me think - kinda awkward speaker position but if i make it work will look just right as they stay nice and anonymous - or shall i take my nice fairly rarish doors cards and take my black&decker to it and cut a sodding great hole in it...
