still wont start, but found out the fuel pump is priming when trying to start so thought maybe dizzy! so replaced and still nothing just spinning over no spark..time for a auto electrician i think,spent so much money..but any other thoughts would be nice :undecided:

Just take it to a Vw specialist or equivalent.  No point spending out on money unless you know what the exact problem is.

Have you checked the water coolant temp sensors if it is reading the engine is hot then you will get a lean mixture instead of a rich mixture needed to start the engine.
If the sensor is within tolerances between hot and cold then you probably wont get a error code.
New toy1990 Scirocco I feel a 16v conversion coming on.

Have you done this have you checked that...just take it to a garage.
