Darren what does the new unit give you over the old unit?
I had a look at Kevs link and it just looks the exact same apart from the new unit has a star whereas the old unit had a speaker and an i but both function as "voice control"

It has an LED backlit screen which is instantly bright rather than the older ones which take a few minutes to come to full brightness.  Its a bit more responsive too.  The star key can be programmed as Voice Control or to repeat the last command depending on how you VagCom it.
Other than that - it seems exactly the same as other 'C' units.
