hey folks

I just bought a tdi 140 se mk6 Golf and cannot access any settings - I don't have a multi function steering wheel.  I watched a youtube video that suggested pressing the selection button on the end of the wiper stalk but that doesn't work. 

Do I have a cheap variant of the mfi / mfd?

Well if you don't have the multi function steering wheel there is a switch on the top and a small button on the underside of the wiper stalk that has the same functions as the wheel switches. I think you have to have the HighLine MFD not the MidLine.
