After reading that Pistonheads thread, I wondered whether anyone might be interested in some explanation as to why the Sessantas tread pattern works okay, or as an R owner, should I stay silent...?

Just came across an 11 page thread on whether the Sessantas were round the right way

Mmm, I see you've used the smug smiley, is that what you think you are with your R on this forum? Isn't why the R forum exists so you can all be smug together congratulating each other on spending up to £40K on a golf?

Yes - that's exactly what R Forum is for.

But, when I'm not on there congratulating other R owners, I like to trollcome on here occasionally and wind up the GTI plebs. :smug:

I guess it's OK to hijack my own thread.

Camskill are out of stock of 225/40/18 until mid/end June. I got mine from CSS Chirk services in Wrexham, £370 delivered for four, they also advertise them on ebay. These guys seem to be the only ones with stock currently.

I can't tell you how they roll as I've never tried them but having been underwhelmed by the Pilot Sport 3's I'm going to give them a go, will report back.

Underwhelmed by the PS3s?
WOW, I was under the impression these were supposed to be the best. Makes the Sessantas look even better value then.
Having tried neither I can't comment on my own experiences but the Vreds seem very highly rated by various forum hotshoes so they should be pretty darn good.
Fingers crossed you get on better with these.
