11mm Spacers, do i need longer bolts???

Guys/girls, im looking to fit some spacers, 10-11mm to my car, ive just got some new rims, there 8x18s with e45 offset!

Will i need to get different bolts? or will the new one's coming with the new rims be ok?

The car is lowered around 40mm also! any input would be much apprieciated

Have you got anything that will get you extra negative camber?

10/11mm spacers and a wider wheel and a lower offset and lowering - you putting narrower tyres on for stretch?

Normal tyres will rub with that combo if you don't have the option to adjust camber!!

21.5mm extra poke over stock with the spacers!

MAY just get away with them on the rear

hey just on the 40mm lowering thing whats that sit like because mine is standard i was looking at the gap between the wheel and arch and 40mm seems like alot i dont like it when the wheels disappear behind the arches and you carnt see the top of the wheel, whats the perfect amount for the wheel to just follow the arch nicely???

No wont be able to adjust the camber Hurdy! there a 8" alloy with 225 rubber!
Im thinking 5mm fronts, 10mm rear, do you think this will be fine?

Trick, the eibach pro springs give a drop of 40mm, but to be honest the wheel arch gap has only reduced by around two fingers width! so doesnt look slammed, and the ride quality is ace
Just didnt like the SUV stock appearance, esp on 17"s Monza's

Try the new wheels without any spacers at first and lower it. If you get away with no rubbing when lowered, add 5mm spacers at the rear 1st(easiest to get away with), then 10 mm spacers on the rear, then swap the 5mm spacers to the front and try them. You may find that you'll settle for 10mm at the rear and no spacers at the front.

awsome thats great. iv got the 18" standard gti wheels on so thats one bonus   from looking at your pic the car looks so much better for such a suttle difference. me thinks some of those billy bad boys will be on order soon
