(Even if i don't agree and think DSG is a glorified auto box which will never be as good as a manual).

On a more serious note, when I drive mine, I am 99% on manual mode.  I enjoy using the paddles to shift up and down, and if going round a corner, then I use forward and back on the gear-stick.

I really like my DSG.

Never buy a manual secondhand.
The DSG avoids over revving.
It just takes one daft change down to knacker an engine.
