AGU 1.8t queries

for a mk2 using ce2 fusebox which is the same as the mk3. read the whole thread as many questions are asked and answered, and any differences with the mk3 are explained

Thanks dan but unless im bein stupid its still not what im lookin for i got a 1.8t agu fittin in a mk 3 golf 8v just need to do wiring conversion need wire coulers n stuff

thats pretty much exactly what that thread is about! you need an agu loom and a 8v loom matching your engine, that thread tells you how to splice them together

Iv got both my agu and my 8v looms but that link if for a auq loom which is diff from the agu from the wires n plugs i got only a few wires match up!iv only got 3 plugs on my agu loom is this right?

no you need a full agu engine loom with a plug for everything on the engine plus the ecu, it comes in 2 parts like the loom in the thread and should look pretty much the same there aren't that many differences between different 1.8t looms. The end result will be mk3 loom at fusebox side and mk4 loom at engine side

I'd suggest if you cant make full sense of the thread then don't attempt it yourself. I considered doing my loom myself but when I got both looms together and sat down to do it decided it was a bit beyond my skills, there are people around who can do it for around £100 if you supply the looms and in the grand scheme of the conversion that isn't very much imo. I had mine done by Rubjonny on clubgti or f17bad on here has some contacts as well

Many thanks for your help iv made sense of it now i think haha i hadnt read it properly as im using my phone but printed it out and could see everything!still might end up paying tho haha many thanks mate
