Fuchs are awesome aren't they. More popular with the air cooled brigade.

How much would you want for the mins? What width and offset are they please? Are they the ones on the car in your sig?

yep the ones in my sig pic, more pics in my dubrides thread. i believe offset is et35 and width is 7J, hence i put spacers on the rear. they look nice with a polish:

missing one centre cap tho

i dont know what theyre worth, i think MIMs usually attract scene tax tho... im always open to offers.

I don't think a semi will give the same results

Fuche wheels are sexy but may find them too wide when you bolt them up with an adaptor (if you go silly wide)

i'll need to do some research on the fuchs. i assume all the wide ones will be off the turbo models which usually have silly low offsets. to get a 9 inch wheel inside the arch with the adapters on i'll need at least 45mm offset.

i am fairly sure narrow fuchs wont be a problem but they fetch good money with the beetle boys.

chris, love the mims but i'd rather a set with all the centres - i'd give up looking knowing me!

There's a lot of work in making one of them. Might be easier to make 4 flat centres. Would be very cool to have one machined though.

Quick update. Not a lot has happened recently, it's not even on the road yet.

Hopefully that will all change next week. It's off for mot on monday and i've got cash to tax and insure it so hopefully i'll catch a lovely indian summer in my gti!

... Just in time for it to come off the road for an engine swap. Not looking forward to that. Going from k jet to digifant. Is it a simple job?

It failed. Bugger.

Low effort on handbrake, small patch required to floor, couple of brake pipes and hoses, rear tyres not mounted correctly.

Going to sort it tonight all being well. Wheel wise i'll put my bbs rx's on for now while i source some narrower wheels for the rear.
