Sawadee kup (Hello in Thai)

First of all, I have been reading this forum for many weeks before I decided to by my dream car. I have been driving the car for about 3 weeks and have already developed about 3,200 Km. I love the car. As you might not know, the number of Golf GTI Mk6 is not more than 20 cars. Golf GTI can be a head turning for many people.

Well, I have some report regarding operating the car in such hot hot whether - today highest temp is about 42 C

- Engine Oil Temp can be about 110 C When driving high speed in Motorway.
- The A/C doing very well, in Hot weather
- I did top up  engine oil about about 2,000 Km
- ACC is perform well regarding the road condition in Bangkok
- There are rubber noise when run into uneven road or when getting into a car park.

Glad you're enjoying your car, get some pics up.

But never mind that, I'm due to be going out to Thailand for my honeymoon in 3 weeks, 4 nights in BKK then 10 in Phuket.  Whats the situation like out there at the moment - especially in BKK.  Supposed to be staying in the Shangri-la but obvioulsy things are a bit hairy ... would appreciate the man on the grounds opinion.  :smiley:

A big wellcome to the Forum, congratulations on your GTI , indeed they are very rare in BKK. Infact I have never seen a GTI in Thailand been there many times, I will be in BKK in june Sukumvit tosee  a friend of mine( no lady boy jokes right) :grin: Pictures please my friend enjoy steve :cool:
