i used to own my own motor factors had 1 guy racing an f40 and another racing a crx both using ebc reds both very happy

Ive just bought the cheaper ds performances, had them on my last car and couldn't complain. was going for the ds2500 but got put off as heard they where too track orientated

i thought the ds2500's were good enough when cold, but they were awesome when up to temp!

I use and highly rate the Mintex 1155's. Awesome pads, if a bit squeeky!

I have to agree, they are massively over-rated.
I used them on my tweaked mk4 turbo, pedal feel was wooden, no improvement in overall braking retardation.
If you're not bothered about the state of your wheels I'd choose carbotech every time.
