well the syncro has been adandoned outside for a while witout paint on it, really shouldn't have done that as it's made a whole load more work for me, but the workshop1 has been full of other peoples stuff mostly thingying plant equipment like this POS and inbetween them a sick T25 has been in residence as well as countless nasty cars
but since last posting about it workshop1 has recived a few upgrades, more lights tho still not enough ligts so more lights pending. the ceiling that we put up the other year has been f**ked off so can get taller stuff in and a 2 post lift. air supply has been upgraded from 15cfm via 40 cfm to 170 CFM in total ( 130 cfm from a diesel compressor) theres also some new doors and stuff to fit and leccy supply needs upgradeing again.
anyway after pokeing the broken audi with sticks decided to have a go at doing something on the golf, like makeing a start on blasting it. have a littel shot blaster pritty much exactly the same a this one hanging about
problem with them is there not that usefull, parts wear out at silly speed suffer with cloging up and there a bit slow. blasting isn't the nicest of jobs so something would have to be done about those issues as don't fancy been there all day doing it. so it got modifyed ( stage 4 infact ), looks really pikey and crap , proably explained by the fact it is and was all built out of scrap except for the nozzel and the fittings on ether end of the blast pipe
orderd a 10mtr blast pipe for it as that old length of 1"1/4 hydralic hose is a bit short, addition of the oil /water separator from an old under van hydrovane is a big feature it's remakably effective in stoping it clogging up
so tested it on a door, this door was black
made a start on the shell than ran out of grit, so will be haveing a ton of ground glass rock up at some point soon hopefully.
