The idea of some loony tune driving 120 miles down a motorway with flushing oil in his engine makes me laugh so much I almost follow through.  The polo has only done 35,000 miles so he wants to open it up. Open it up, sh!t he'll open it up alright when a con rod goes through the block when the poor thing seizes up.

Arseholes like this shouldn't be allowed sharp scissors let alone a tool box.

Yes mate - GAY BAR!

When i get a chance i will troll post and let you know my id. Works gone mental busy so not had a chance.

For sheer gayness check this out from a recent post on there:

We can't control fate but whatever the reason for it, when you're driving aggressively, carelessly or just plain dangerously you're putting lives at risk, friends, family and/or strangers. Imagine how devastated you'd be if your child was the victim of a speeding motorist late for a business meeting and then take a look at your speed on the way to your next appointment. Drivers usually make choices which cause accidents. Some people have no choice in the matter and their fate is in the hands of others. Think on everyone. Drive safely, love your families/children and be considerate to others at all times.

I didnt know Jerry Springer posted on the Honesttwit site?!

I am sick and tired of these old farts that write about speed being dangerous, I mean we all agree that in a residential area like a school road it would be a bit silly to cane it but we all have commonsense, we can all use our own judgement and most of us drive in a safe and courteous manner.

This senial contingent seem oblivious to the fact that speed cameras are situated to raise revenue for the fat arse government. We all have roads in our local areas that have overnight become 40mph limits when they were 60mph with a nicely situated camera at the end to catch those that haven't slammed the anchors on.

The honest join site caters for the slightly older driver, the pipe and slippers brigade, the type of person who doesn't indicate at roundabouts, doesn't have a f**king clue where they are going and instead of pulling off the road they stop right in front of you. They might have 30 years no claims bonus but they leave a trail of destruction in their wake, Innocent motorists like you and I who are out enjoying our cars.

Motoring in this day and age is an expensive business, you buy the bastard thing and have to gobble the insurance man to get cover, then pimp your arse to fill the thing up with petrol. I for one am going to enjoy driving my car and if some volvo driving, senial archers listener wants me to be considerate to him when he next cuts me up he can kiss my hairy sh!tpiece.

Agreed mate. the speeding thing is complete arse. If you just want to get from a - b with buggerall excitement in between buy a friggin moped. at least you wont break the law, because obviously the law is ALWAYS rights. NOT.

These guys are unreal. Even Dynamic 'arseface' Dave the moderator started telling the guy he was wrong to tell people how to drive and not speed.

I do think that these pricks are the reason why we have speed cameras in all the places they arent needed.

Check this one out:-

VW scirocco problems - montag   Tue 12 Aug 03 17:41

Hi

Hope somebody has had this as it is driving me nuts!

Got a D reg 1800 gt Scirocco which generally purrs. However there is a totally erratic fault. Every know and again the car cuts out. As you accelerate the engine lurchs and loses power. If you dip the clutch you can keep the engine running smoothly by hitting the gas but as soon as you let of the gas the engine dies. Very easy to start afterwards but will not drive, idles ok (sometimes!). if you leave it for a minute it will start ok and drive ok! You may be able to drive it ok for 20miles then go to the local shops and it lurches.

Totally random when it happens, the car either drives perfect or not at all, normally on the same journey.

Happens slightly more often going up hills but has happened on flat and downhill.

I have replaced today:

coil
HT leads
cap
rotor arm
vacuum hoses

Has had a recent fuel pump and air filter.

RAC blokey dismantled carb and cleaned jets.

Any ideas please before I go bald!!!!

Check that the air intake control flap (in air cleaner intake) is operating correctly. Should provide hot air to carb when air cleaner is cold, warm air only when really hot. Excess cold air can ause carb icing - even in this wheather.

CARB ICING!!!! in the middle of August, the temp only been about 30-40 degrees C. More great misleading advice. The chaps problem turns out to be a dodgy vacuum hose.
