I think that photo isn't true to how it actually looks. It's quite easy to get very different colors with photo's. It's quite orange in that one. :)

Huge difference in the color on those photos. All depending on lighting and camera. They are definitely not orange though. :P

Let's have a piccy of yours, please.
Erik's don't look orange like in the first picture.
In the other pictures they look fine IMO.
Much, much better than the standard lights.

Here are Erik's:
But they are lighter than the 'R' versions though.
Which is better is a matter of taste. I like both!
I am getting the 'R' versions.

Still very light and i think probably lighter than the oem bulb lights. I have seen a massive amount of photos of the GTI Leds as im also on a german gti site were theres loads of build logs.
Im starting to warm to the oem bulb ones (runs and hides  )

And so you should. You wicked person!
I do prefer the 'R' LEDs and the OEM bulby ones are darker the GTi LEDs.
Both loveRly though.

I took some pics when I picked my GTI a few weeks ago. -> http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=152164.0

Both of the new LEDs are better then the old non-LED ones and I prefer the darker R ones as well. I can't justify buying the R LEDs ones though since my GTI came with the GTI LEDs from factory. :)

Hi Awry.
GTi LEDs will look fine on all colours but not on a red car probably! This is MO and taste.
Your LEDs look superb on your silver beauty.
The OEM Bulby thing-me-gigs look poo in comparison.
Rear LEDs are the best man-jewellery IMO!  .... on a car!
