If it won't bump, I'd be looking at coil or something but if it will, I had a similar problem the other week...........turned out to be the copper strap between the starter solenoid and the starter motor. It had corroded and was giving the exact symptoms you describe. I put in a new link between the motor and solenoid and its spot on again. You'll need to take the starter motor out to get to it though unfortunately.

Hope it helps!

Mm..well normally a good battery should read 12 volts plus..with the engine running  you should get a reading of about 14 volts..  things pointing towards the battery again,

Well it sure could be.. You could replace the battery anyway for a half decent price if you look around..maybe try gsf parts, see what their prices are.. apart from that it kinda makes sense to replace it anyway so your not really throwing money away,

10V is low.

Try and get a friend to jump start it (with jump leads). Carefully do it battery to battery and then you'll know for sure. :)
