what's so bad about replicas ? i mean do they cause problem in long term such as problem with imbalance and such ???

I dont think there is a problem. I know many people who have run reps and not had any problems yet I also know of people with genuine ones having all sorts of problems with whiteworm etc. Having said that some can still be bad and have a poor finish etc.

I got some BBS LM reps on mine as a genuine set in 18'' was over £3000, no way was I paying that.

thanks mate.

I think i will go for the 18'' on wheelbase, cost around £300, can't really afford more than that

Replicas are typically heavier than their BBS counter-parts and this can sometimes make a big difference in ride quality.

Also note that going up to 17s will make your acceleration slightly worse and the ride quality will suffer (lower profile tyres & they're also heavier than the 17s.)

Just recently fitted a set of Monza II Shadow reps to mine (new off eBay for about £300). I could'nt tell much difference in weight ect and the finish/quality is excellent. They came with some moody centre caps (audi ones with a stick on vw badge?) which i've now ditched and found some proper caps to fit. All in all i have no problem with them being fitted. The size and offset is virtually the same as originals so they look spot on..
