M62s from the US for 150 quid, brackets fabricated locally wont cost too much, I forgot about management tbh but thats probs 200. Stacked gaskets to lower CR, gearbox should be fine, and pipework wont cost the earth the same as injectors off a VR. Dont get me wrong I'm no expert, and you all probably know more than me, but reading the stickie on it and it doesnt seem to add up to £800. A fair few people have done it and I dont think any of them changed their gearbox. I'm sure you could get it all done for less than £500 which wont break the bank. I'm not trying to create an arguement guys and maybe I'm being a bit naive but I think I may go for this in the summer so I will keep all updated if CCGTI has not done it by then

The 020 gearbox is pants. Combined with the ABF it's already a recipe for disaster, let alone with a supercharged 8v.

The 020 will be good enough for up to about 170bhp but wouldn't like to push it much further than that. Could do a full re-build on the 020 before hand for about £120, be like a brand new box after and could probably push to about 190bhp...................
If the little old AGG could do that
