I cant be putting the MK5 around the track, spent too much getting her back on the road just to thrash her round a track. Im guessing there is spectator "spots" . . . ?

You can walk the whole way round the track, Alan.  Most of the way is elevated, too.  You might want to stop at Quarry for a while - good vulturing spot.
