Agree with kells on that.

I've just got some 40mm front and 35mm rear shocks, springs. I know its not that low but it'l stiffen up the ride abit and handle a tad better. dont wanna go any lower I dont fancy replacing bits every other day

How much do garages ask for fitting coilies?

I don't want to spend 200 on coilies, and another 100 for fitting

Around 50 sounds sensible.
My Golf mk3 1.8 SE is FOR SALE - Jetex exhaust + Jamex coilies & More...Only £550! More info here > http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=161711.0

As for speed bumps, 1st gear jobby for me, plus I have to go sideways! And my sills still hit! lol

There are speed bumps near me and it's FAR softer to accelerate over them at 50 MPH then it is going 10-20 MPH.
Golf MK3 1.8 auto and I didn't pay a grand for the "priveledge", auto windows all round and a AC. Oh and I've got a luggage net you pricks!

Does that make my willy look bigger?

Oh yeah it's called Helda or something....

Oh and well said Shady. :afro:

Lowness is not everything.  Does not make you cool.

And I would not be putting small kids in a really low car. (Not aimed at anyone)

Fitting coilies vary from place to place, most charge per axle (Front and Rear)
I've been quoted £30 each so £60 all round which sounds pretty reasonable to me ^^

Oh the Garage was "Autostreet" in Enfield, Good bunch of young guys :)

Clearly wasn't aimed at you actually, it was more a back up for Deano, honestly missed your post. ;)

Because kids have soft bones. It's also uncomfortable for them.

Just my opinion on the subject. ;)
