I have the same issue. Done about 6000 miles now, but still the same annoying sound at certain revs :undecided:

Mine does this on its stage 2 Remap . :huh: (Ed30), i dont get the chattering sound, but i do get the shshshsh noise though.

Edit........... Just listened to the 2nd video at thats more noticeable. :shocked:

Mine is the shshshshsh sound as well. I sometimes get it at 2300-3000 rpm. I'm steadily increasing the rpm and pushed it to 5000 rpm for the first time today. What an awesome sound it makes after 4000rpm. Quite addicting and the opposite of the shshsh-sound. :)

Seems like VW has found a solution to this issue that I found on the internet. It's an easy fix with a small clip that goes on the wastegate rod. I've already ordered mine from my local dealer and they easily found the part on their database.

OEM part number: 06J-145-220-A / 06J145220A

I had an update on this a couple of weeks ago as i'm waiting too, according to my local dealership the next "release" of that part is 4th December! :sick:

Superb, I have the very same issue! I'll get them to look at it next month when I take the car in for a service.  Whilst their there they can look at the knocking noise coming from underneath the drivers seat!

My MK6 1.4 also has a similar annoying noise, it happens at the exact same RPM's as stated, around 2000-3000RPM, ive had it at the garage twice, first time they couldnt hear it, second time they replaced the "exhaust hose flexi" or something, its in for its 3rd service soon so i think i might bring it up with them again and get it sorted before my warranty runs out :)
