First time I've come across your thread. Looks absolutely stunning. Particularly like your engine bay, the combination of the deep, red wine bay with the gold engine detailing looks

Not good news today. Had what I thought confirmed, and I need to get the charger rebuilt. It seems one of the internal seals is loosing oil past the compressor and thats whats giving me my oil leak and some times smoke out the back.

Looking into my options as to how to tackle this as it will NOT be going back to Vortech. They have a habit of writing off perfectly good  chargers.

Bummer man, down side to the joys of forced induction.

Can you replace the seal yourself?

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

Yeah its a bit of a bummer. I think I could replace the seal my self, but not the bearings. I need to find some sort of engineering company to basically rebuild it for me and do it all in one swoop. Im just about to order the rebuild kit now.

If you do find a good company let me know. Mate has a G-Lader in need of seals and bearings. I don't think it can be that hard, just time consuming and being methodical.
