Dunlops on mine, don't know what all the fuss is about, they were very good. Just replaced the fronts with Michy PS3 and don't notice any difference.

Gossa you must drive like my grandad mate hahaha You saying there isnt any problems corning with the dunlops?

Nope, my car was the first to be revo'd and is putting out 270+ and I drive it like I flippin well nicked it.  It's called 'placebo' Steve; someone cool once said on a forum that Dunlops were sh1te and so everyone follows like sheep, baaaahhhhh!!!!

I can feel the difference in a tyre, I had PZero Rossos on the Scirocco and I could feel that were soft, always felt like they were running too little pressure but they felt cr@p.  The Dunlops have been fine, even good and the holy grail Michelins (£150 a corner BTW) don't feel any better even in the wet which is where they are supposed to shine.  I also think the Dunlops beat the Michys in the Evo tyre test didn't they?

So Steve, are you a sheep mate????

Well said mate hahaha I think your mistaking me for Kev, he likes sheep he's always floating around the highlands, on the look out with his wellies on!!

To be fair Gossa the dunlops were good in the winter mate esp in the snow I found them very good. But when it comes to corning in the wet not so good not as planted!!

Gossa I put up pictures of my dunlops and the uneven wearing across the tyre... this seems to be a common occurance with the Dunlops and borders on dangerous. I would never willingly buy the dunlops... thats down to personal experience.

I too thought the Dunflops were fine... that was until I tried another tyre

Yep I've read that before mate and took it on board but my Dunlops on the front of the mk6 wore completely evenly, lasted ok, gripped fine and now having been replaced with the ultra desirable 'benchmark' tyre the new Michy Pilot Sport 3's, I can't tell any difference.

As I said in a previous post, it is possible Dunlop changed the tyres at some point but in my experience they were fine, no better than fine, they were good and as good as the Michelins. Next time around i'm going for the Vredesteins.

Bridgestone Potenzas on mine - seem fine in both wet & dry conditions

My 3 series had michelin ps2's which were fine when new but very noisey when worn and at £210 for a rear 255/35/18 they were a bit pricey!

put the best brand on the front, so yes! I had gyf1's on my ed30 and dunlops on the back ,no problems except as you know I didn't like the gy,s, so I put them on the back brilliant no problems!!

Generally regarded Ok to mix brands but preferably keep them paired left and right and same level of wear.
