Still going.  Will be there some time Friday afternoon now.

Would be great to meet some folks.  I will be seen mostly walking around sporting a straw trilby, with a Red Stripe in one hand.  So if you see me around, give me a nod.

The car is sporting "proper" window stickers now and will be poorly parked near a bronze Beetle, Black Corrado G60 and a red mk3.

It's our own fault, but we crawled in at 10pm Friday  :sick: 
After 45 minutes driving around in the dark, in desperation we pitched up in the only space we found (next to a private all night jungle techno tent) :cry:

Met up with some pals early Saturday and quickly moved in with them.  Had a really great day Saturday and Sunday.  Some highlights for me were the ratty and show n' shine events, BMX ramp competition, The "Mental Breakdown" dragster and the Type 2 detectives working on their van.

This is my pals Beetle I mentioned.  He won the judges choice at the ratty competition!!!

i went but didnt get till late sat afternoon and after doing it for so many years i didnt feel like id missed anything even without going last year, was bored after an hour or two of walking about as it dosnt change enough to make it exciting anymore.... evening entertainment was good in the dance / 90's tent , audio bullys were spose to be on main stage but bailed out , so they shuffled stuff round....

we were camped on the bmx ramp staff site/area which was good as we didnt have to trek for ages to get anywhere!!

yeah it was a great weekend, my first one so was very impressed  :smiley: bring on next year  :wink:
got leeds vw fest in 3 weeks now so its got a lot to live up to!
