Excellent, a Car to be able to beta test, at least it aint your own if it all goes wrong.

My thoughts exactly!!  Send it back full of error codes

  'Wasnt me'

Brilliant answer for everything, still works to this very day

iirc you cannot on the mk6 but i could be wrong on this. I think its something to do with your suppose to have a reading in KPH and MPH over here. Were as in europe they can change theres. I remember reading it somewere.

Correct. I have configured a permanent MPH reading on the MFD for when I am in the UK. Quite useful, but I could live w/o it, TBH.

How did you manage to do that ?

How did you manage to do that ?

I can't remember, but it's just an option in the menu on continental cars. I can either have kph or mph digitally displayed, but as I already have the analogue kph dial, I thought having a simultaneous mph display might be useful for when I come over to England.

It's not nearly as exciting as R LEDs, though. I never really look at it

Changed mine to large MPH display today, also tried the "dial sweep" change but it did'nt work on mine as you need your instrument cluster part number to end in a certain letter.

If anyone's interested how to do it will post some instructions up(VCDS NEEDED).

I'd be interested, as I keep thinking I'm speeding when I'm not!

Actually your display should be more exciting since you never CAN watch your R Leds.... :lipsrsealed:
Anyway despite the fact that my leds will not be smokey I can hardly wait....so I know what you mean...much more exciting than standard....

Yes please!!  I have a VCDS - just no car yet!  I can try it on my courtesy one though.
I've already tried the 'staging' sweeping dials, but it tells me its not supported.
