Mk2 Valver is going - Whats it worth
« on: 09 November 2004, 12:48 »
My Pug 205 is now ready so the Mk2 I had as a runabout has now got to go, just not sure on what its worth, any help appreciated

Mk2 16v
89 F on 89k
FVWSH up to 84k
Dark Grey 3dr
EW, PAS, Central Locking
CD player
9mnths MOT
NO TAX
Interior is sound
Exterior has a few marks on it and a couple of small dents, though nothing too major. Basically it would make a good project car, though not sure on what its actually worth...

Such a shame it's going to be replaced by a 205 !

Each to their own I guess ... ;D

Being a 'F' plate I'm assuming it's a early spec small bumper model. Given the age / mileage and service history i'd say around ?1000, maybe more depending on the condition of the bodywork.

Try and sell her to an enthusiast as it'll be more appreciated  ;)

The bodywork isn't great and its sitting on some old BMW alloys.. !!!!
To be honest I'd be happy with about ?850

Stick it up for ?950 and leave some room to haggle  ;)

Or keep it for the next time the 205 goes tits up !  ;D

(Sorry to tease, but in principle I love the cars, light weigh - roller skate handling - 1.9 has gr8 performance ... just spent waaaay to many weekends helping friends fix 'em I'm afraid)
