If they say its in the UK and its coming in at the tyne (i would expect so but you never know with dealers  ) then i guess its at the dock or the holding compond they use slightly further along the tyne
Pulmans did not seem that busy (were preping a couple of polos when i was there) so i guess as soon as they get it, it will not take long for you to get it

...and I've just had some great news....not! my car finance guy told me last week, following his own enquiries, that the car had been shipped and was now in the UK  -  I asked the dealer for an update today and he tells me that the status is still 'awaiting ship'    someone's right and someone's wrong  -  statement of the obvious!  -  Apparently, the finance company has shares in VW so that might put them close (ish) to the reality of the situation but, then again, surely the dealer knows what's going on  - I guess it's possible that VW haven't updated the status on the computer records  -  the dealer said that he has put in a call to VW and expects an update tomorrow....watch this space...

there is a time limit, Snoops  -  I can't remember how many days it is but my dealer mentioned it today  -  I asked him if it could be sitting in Germany for another week and he mentioned the time limit  -  whatever...one would think we've all got Bugattis on order, not (with respect to all you guys who love Golf Gti's/GTD's/R's) a Golf!
